TCU Eliminated from Playoff Contention Sunday, April 28th , 2024 While they stayed relevant until late in the season, a playoff berth wasn't meant to be this season for the TCU Horned Frogs. The club was eliminated from playoff contention today. "Even though we knew where things stood, it's a disappointment," Horned Frogs manager Mike White said. This is the club's 2nd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2022. In total, the Horned Frogs have missed the playoffs 8 times in their 24-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Horned Frogs have made the playoffs 7 times. TCU last won the College World Series in 2019. |
