Pitt Named Top Reliever for SL2 Thursday, June 9th , 2022 At the young age of only 19, Steve Pitt has been named the Conference 2 Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2022. The future appears bright for the Florida Gators relief ace, who captured the award with 1 save in 27 relief appearances, 28 strikeouts in 32.1 innings and a record of 2-0 to go with his 1.39 ERA. He received 52 first place votes out of a possible 56. Dave Coe of the Vanderbilt Commodores finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Ronnie Downard of the Kansas State Wildcats finished third with 1 first place vote.
