Bearcats Win College World Series Crown Monday, June 1st , 2020 The Cincinnati Bearcats were good enough to get past the Ohio State Buckeyes at Bill Davis Stadium today and secure the 1st championship in franchise history. "When you wear Bearcats on your shirt, you're good at something," Cincinnati skipper Dominique Lapin told the press. Bearcats right fielder Corey Cawley was named MVP of the series after he went .500 with 3 home runs and 12 runs batted in. "It feels totally incredible," Cawley said. "I could live to 1,000 years old and I'd remember this moment." The new champions capped off a great season with a 8-1 victory over the Buckeyes to win the College World Series 4-2. |
