Bearcats Top Cavaliers in College World Series Sunday, May 29th , 2022 The Cincinnati Bearcats were good enough to get past the Virginia Cavaliers at UC Baseball Stadium today and secure the 2nd championship in franchise history. "When you wear Bearcats on your shirt, you're good at something," Cincinnati skipper Dominique Lapin told the press. Bearcats right fielder John Grabowski was named MVP of the series after he went .350 with 2 home runs and 4 RBI. "It feels totally incredible," Grabowski said. "I could live to 1,000 years old and I'd remember this moment." The new champions capped off a great season with a 2-1 victory over the Cavaliers to win the College World Series 4-1. |
