Hits Blitz for Horned Frogs Scott Saturday, May 14th , 2022 Most fans have never seen a player hit for the cycle, and most players have never done it -- but it happened today at O'Brate Stadium. Tim Scott of the TCU Horned Frogs accomplished the feat against Oklahoma State Cowboys. Scott went 5-for-5 with 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 2 home runs in the 8-3 TCU victory. "That was one for the grandkids, am I right?" Scott said after the game. Scott also scored 4 runs and had 2 RBI in a day to remember for both Scott and the crowd at O'Brate Stadium. Tim Scott singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Blake Banks in the 4th, tripled in the 6th, doubled in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Zack Ewing in the 9th. For the year, Scott has hit at a .410 clip with 28 RBIs, 5 home runs and 49 runs scored. |
