March's #1 Hurler Announced: Hunter Wins Award Monday, April 1st , 2024 Josh Hunter was ecstatic to win March's Conference 1 Pitcher of the Month honors today. The 20-year-old UCLA pitcher thanked fans, his coaches and the voters for the honor -- despite the fact that he deserved much of the credit himself. Hunter's star burned bright last month as he made 11 relief appearances, notching 6 saves and 20 strikeouts in 15.1 innings. He held opposing hitters to a .098 average to put up his 4-0 mark and 0.59 ERA. |
