Wake Forest Loses DiCosola for Year Sunday, April 16th , 2023 The season is ending on a bad note for Brett DiCosola, first baseman for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. DiCosola was hurt against the Iowa Hawkeyes while running the bases. He suffered a severely strained hip muscle and will be out for at least 4-5 months. In 2023 DiCosola has hit at a .360 clip with 45 hits, 8 home runs, 28 RBIs and has scored 22 times. |
