Playoff Bound: Kentucky Secures Wild Card Wednesday, May 8th , 2019 The Kentucky Wildcats could very well have acquired some new fans late this season, as the team's 2019 playoff chase saw them win the wild card as the season wound to a close. "It's an exciting time to be a fan of the Wildcats. I think we had people on the edge of their seats wondering what would happen," said reliever Ahmed Harris. What ended up happening is that the team's 28-23 record has allowed it to move on to the postseason, with a chance to win the 1st College World Series in franchise history. "It's only going to get more exciting from here on in," Harris said. |
