Injury Sidelines A.J. Robinson For Year

The season is ending on a bad note for A.J. Robinson, starting pitcher for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Robinson was hurt against the North Carolina Tar Heels while throwing a pitch. He suffered a damaged elbow ligament and will be out for at least 10-11 months.
This year, Robinson has a 0-4 mark in 7 starts with a 5.17 ERA. He has given up 33 hits in 31.1 innings, struck out 29 and issued 17 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .266 batting average against him.
