Harber Rips Virginia Tech for 5 Hits Friday, May 3rd , 2019 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Andrew Harber today -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Ray Fisher Stadium and paced the Wolverines to a 25-13 win over the Virginia Tech Hokies. After his dynamite batting performance, the Michigan left fielder told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book. Andrew Harber hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Mircea Kütchük in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, walked in the 5th, singled in the 7th, walked in the 8th and singled in the 8th. Harber is hitting .269 in 2019 with 17 RBIs and 3 home runs. |
