Hit Parade: Coufal Pops 5 Hits Monday, March 31st , 2025 Arizona Wildcats first baseman Peter Coufal really lit up the LSU Tigers with a 5-hit barrage at Hi Corbett Field -- a performance that sparked the Wildcats to a 5-4 triumph. He shrugged off the performance after the game, saying "sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes." Peter Coufal singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 9th. For the season, Coufal has produced 22 hits in 84 at-bats for a .262 average with 5 home runs and gotten on base at a .367 clip. |
