Season Over for Wes Gordon in Vanderbilt Monday, April 3rd , 2023 The season is finished for Wes Gordon of the Vanderbilt Commodores. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Commodores starting pitcher suffered a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Kentucky Wildcats. Team doctors said it would take at least 9-10 months to heal. This season to date, Gordon has a record of no wins and 1 loss with a 4.19 ERA, has appeared in 5 games and struck out 17 in 19.1 innings. |
