Bears Dave Pidgeon to Miss Year Wednesday, March 26th , 2025 Dave Pidgeon has to call it a season. The Baylor Bears reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Iowa State Cyclones and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Pidgeon was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a stretched elbow ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 10 months. Pidgeon has taken the hill for 7 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 0-0 record with a 3.38 ERA. The Baylor reliever has limited opposing batters to a .238 batting average. |
