Season Ends for Phil Shull of Georgia Sunday, April 2nd , 2023 Phil Shull of the Bulldogs just might have to call it quits for the season. The 21-year-old Georgia starting pitcher received a possible season-ending injury against the Texas Tech Red Raiders recently at Foley Field. Shull suffered a damaged elbow ligament while throwing a pitch. The Bulldogs medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 13 months. Up to now Shull has recorded a record of 1-1. In 5 starts he has fanned 24 batters in 21.2 innings with a 5.82 ERA. |
