Siciliano Rips 3 Homers Against Fighting Irish Saturday, April 1st , 2023 Mike Siciliano added his name in the record books after an explosive home run spree against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. But despite joining the select list of sluggers to hit three home runs in a game, it didn't guarantee a victory. The Florida State Seminoles fell to the Fighting Irish, 10-7. In his big day at Dick Howser Stadium, the Florida State catcher went 3-for-4 with 4 RBIs and scored 3 times. "It was just one of those days," he told BNN sportswriters in the postgame interview. "I don't know how to explain it. I'm just putting a good swing on the ball. "You would think three homers would win most games. It was good to hit 'em, but a win would have really made my day."
