Sooners Lose Meza for Season Saturday, April 17th , 2021 Roberto Meza has to call it a season. The Oklahoma Sooners left fielder sustained a season-ending injury against the Texas A&M Aggies and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Meza was injured while running the bases. His doctors diagnosed it as a broken kneecap and stated that he would not be able to play for 5 months. Meza is batting .273 this year with no home runs, 6 RBIs and 8 runs scored. He has 15 hits in 55 at-bats. |
