Dean Booms 3 Homers Friday, April 16th , 2021 The Indiana Hoosiers knocked off the Ohio State Buckeyes, 6-4, in spite of a fantastic performance by Buckeyes third baseman Matt Dean, who Dean drilled three home runs but couldn't bring home the victory. "It's like going to the prom with the prettiest girl in school, having a great time, but then not getting a good night kiss," Dean said later. Dean finished the day with 4 hits in 5 at-bats, 4 runs batted in and 3 runs scored. Matt Dean hit a solo-shot off Mark Wooten in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Mark Wooten in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Marc Hall in the 7th and flied out in the 8th. So far this year, Dean has 9 home runs and a .313 batting average. |
