Year Over for Wildcats Esparza Thursday, April 15th , 2021 The Northwestern Wildcats were dealt a blow today when starting pitcher Ivan Esparza left the game with an undisclosed injury. The team has now revealed that Esparza has suffered radial nerve compression and will most likely miss the rest of the season as a result of the injury. So far this season, Esparza has compiled a 2-1 record with a 0.23 ERA. |
