Schelling Hits in 20 Consecutive Games Tuesday, March 28th , 2023 Ian Schelling's hitting streak is becoming the talk of Oklahoma. The 19-year-old right fielder extended it once again, this time bringing it to 20 games with a 2-for-3 performance against the Auburn Tigers. The Sooners won the game, 7-5. "People are starting to bring it up to me when I'm around town," he said. "It's getting stressful." Ian Schelling flied out in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, singled in the 5th and doubled in the 7th. A look at his current stats shows Schelling with a .329 average, 2 home runs, 17 RBIs and 17 runs scored. He has played in 18 games. |
