Sherlock Whacks 3 out of the Park for Vanderbilt

Heath Sherlock was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 17-3 Vanderbilt Commodores triumph at Charles Hawkins Field today.
The 20-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Commodores past the TCU Horned Frogs.
"One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Sherlock told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate."
The third baseman went 4-for-5, rung up 6 RBIs and scored 4 runs on his record-setting day.
Heath Sherlock singled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Joey Brown in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Joey Brown in the 5th, walked in the 6th, hit a three-run home run off Wayne Rousseau in the 6th and struck out in the 7th.
On the year Sherlock is hitting .342 with 55 hits, 16 home runs, 44 RBIs, .486 OBP and has scored 45 runs.
