Brum Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits Wednesday, April 25th , 2018 The Vanderbilt Commodores couldn't stop Dean Brum today, but they stopped the Auburn Tigers, 10-5. Brum went 5-for-5 in the game at Charles Hawkins Field, but his team still came out on the wrong end of the score. "I feel bad for Dean -- that's not how any of us wanted things to turn out," said Auburn manager Javier Saiz. "The Commodores were on their game today." Dean Brum doubled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Jason Hiner in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Tony Baca in the 9th. This season Brum is hitting at a .386 pace with 15 home runs, 37 RBIs and has scored 39 times. |
