Big Bang! 3 HR for South Carolina's Lepp

Fans seated in the bleacher section at Charlie and Marie Lupton Baseball Stadium and Williams-Reilly Field were taking cover all day long as Devin Lepp zeroed in on them, rattling three long blasts off the seats in a display of Herculean power.
The big game from the South Carolina right fielder helped the Gamecocks take the victory, 9-7, over the TCU Horned Frogs.
"I told myself not to press on the last one," he told reporters in the postgame press conference. "I knew I couldn't force it -- it has to be a nice easy swing."
For the game, he collected 4 hits in 5 at-bats, drove in 6 and scored 3 runs.
Devin Lepp hit a solo-shot off Nate Rivas in the 2nd, walked in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Hector Hernandez in the 5th, struck out in the 7th, hit a solo-shot off John Tipton in the 9th and hit a two-run double in the 10th.
This year Lepp is hitting .327 with 16 home runs and 40 RBIs in 46 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .415 with 25 walks and 35 runs scored.
