Dick McGlynn Injured, Out for Year Saturday, March 16th , 2024 Dick McGlynn will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Virginia catcher could miss the remainder of the year. McGlynn was injured while running the bases in the Cavaliers-Fighting Irish clash at Davenport Field at Disharoon Park recently. Doctors said he has a broken kneecap and would be out a minimum of 4-5 months. So far this year, McGlynn has 3 home runs and a .400 batting average. |
