Broadley Swats 3 Homers

Anyone wearing a glove and sitting in the bleachers for today's Wildcats-Wildcats game had a good chance at snagging a home run ball.
Kansas State second baseman Chris Broadley thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the Kansas State to a win, 6-1, over Arizona.
"Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Broadley said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run."
Broadley, who is tied for 5th in the SL2 in bases on balls with 35, was 4-for-5 on the day with 5 RBI.
Chris Broadley hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Mike Pinion in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Preston Grubbs in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off James Glenn in the 9th.
This year, Broadley has socked 48 hits in 151 at-bats for a .318 average with 16 home runs. He is getting on base at a .444 pace and his totals also include 42 RBIs and 36 runs scored.
