Cullum Shackles Michigan State
Monday, March 30th , 2026
Mike Cullum was in a mood to talk following the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets contest against the Michigan State Spartans, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Spartans, 10-0.
"There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Cullum said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again."
The right-hander blanked Michigan State on a 5-hitter, allowing 3 walks and racking up 5 strikeouts.
So far this season, Cullum has logged a 3-2 record with a 1.95 ERA. He has started 5 games, hurled 32.1 innings and registered 27 strikeouts and 12 walks.
