McKeon Bashes 5 Base Hits

Arizona State first baseman Jason McKeon had a big day at Charlie and Marie Lupton Baseball Stadium and Williams-Reilly Field today against the TCU Horned Frogs. The 21-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-6 and led the Sun Devils to a 14-6 triumph over TCU.
"Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," McKeon said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all."
Jason McKeon hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
This season McKeon has hit at a .322 clip with 14 RBIs, 0 home runs and 11 runs scored. He has played in 36 games.
