Kansas Loses Giralldo Gameiro for Season Thursday, April 21st , 2022 The season is ending on a bad note for Giralldo Gameiro, reliever for the Kansas Jayhawks. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Gameiro was hurt against the Houston Cougars while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn labrum and will be out for at least 6 months. His stats sheet for the year shows Gameiro has managed to hold opponents to a .218 average in 11 relief appearances, while putting up 2-0 record with 17 strikeouts and 6 walks in 20.2 innings. He has a 2.61 ERA with 1 save. |
