5-Hit Barrage by Teehan Monday, April 18th , 2022 It was a parade of hits for Justin Teehan of the Virginia Cavaliers at Davenport Field at Disharoon Park. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Teehan finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Cavaliers to a win, 14-0. "Teehan was really good and we were really bad," groaned Nittany Lions manager Jimmy Wilson. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Justin Teehan singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Willie Lalinde in the 4th, struck out in the 5th and singled in the 7th. Teehan is hitting .442 this year with 7 home runs, 28 RBIs and 27 runs scored. He has 61 hits in 138 at-bats, 13 walks and a .500 on-base percentage. Teehan has played in 34 games. |
