Hit Parade: Fox Pops 5 Hits Thursday, March 26th , 2026 It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Bill Fox. Fox went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Oklahoma pitchers. When the dust settled on the diamond at Hoglund Ballpark, he had a 5-for-6 line and a day he will long remember. And the Kansas Jayhawks had a win, 12-3, over the Sooners. "Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview. Bill Fox singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Greg Kroft in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and struck out in the 8th. This year, Fox has hit at a .371 clip with 23 hits, 1 home run, 9 RBIs and 14 runs scored. |
