Wolverines Pitching Ravaged by Winter Saturday, March 15th , 2025 All game long, Louisville's Tim Winter was rattling the walls at Ray Fisher Stadium and banging out base hits against the Michigan Wolverines. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Cardinals had a win, 10-5. Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 22-year-old third baseman said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this." Tim Winter singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Bobby Dwyer in the 8th. So far this year, Winter is batting .500 with 3 home runs and 8 RBIs. |
