Year Over for Yellow Jackets Richert Sunday, April 11th , 2021 Mike Richert has to call it a season. The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Ohio State Buckeyes and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Richert was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a damaged elbow ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 9 months. Richert has a 0-1 season record so far. In 7 starts, he has fanned 25 batters in 32.1 innings with a 4.45 ERA. |
