Colglazier Goes Deep 3 Times Sunday, March 12th , 2023 Daniel Colglazier was in a home run mode at Bryson Field at Boshamer Stadium. The Michigan left fielder massacred Tar Heels pitching, cracking out three home runs and going 3-for-4 with 5 RBIs and scoring 3 runs. But this sensational performance didn't really matter. North Carolina won the ballgame, 9-6, despite the three homers. "I wish a big 'W' had come with this," he said. "It's great to hit three homers, but the bottom line is whether you win or lose." Nonetheless, Colglazier will now have a place in the league record book. "I guess when you're hot, you're hot," he said. "I'm not going up there trying to hit home runs. I put the good part of the bat on it and luckily three of them went out today." Daniel Colglazier walked in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Steve Wagner in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Steve Wagner in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Curtis White in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. |
