Arrowood Gets 5 Hits Tuesday, April 2nd , 2019 Ian Arrowood had an answer for everything the Auburn Tigers threw at him today at Kentucky Proud Park. The Kentucky shortstop went 5-for-5 in the game to put his name in the record book and put the Wildcats on top, 7-6. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Arrowood said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Ian Arrowood singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. Presently Arrowood is batting .406 with 13 hits and no home runs. He has knocked in 2 runs and scored 6 times. |
