Hoosiers Jonathan Hinkey Down and Out for Year Monday, March 14th , 2022 When Indiana second baseman Jonathan Hinkey was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Hoosiers-Golden Bears game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Hinkey had sustained a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and will be out for about 8 months.
