Friday, June 12th , 2026
The future looks extremely bright for Justin Ware. At the age of 21, many players are still trying to find their way in ABA College.
Ware has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the Conference 1 Most Valuable Player Award.
"I didn't expect to hit .376 this year, that's for sure," the first baseman said.
The Nebraska Cornhuskers star also put up a .456 on-base percentage this year, with 67 hits, 8 doubles, no triples, 22 home runs, 51 RBIs and 36 runs scored.
He received 33 first place votes out of a possible 56. Jonathan Williams of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets finished second in voting with 23 first place votes, while Jose Ortega of the Virginia Cavaliers finished third.
