Golden Bears Cruise to Elite 8 with Sweep Thursday, May 9th , 2024 On paper, the California Golden Bears will be credited with a 2-0 sweep of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in the Sweet 16, to advance to the Elite 8. In reality, said starting pitcher Josh Riddick, it was a lot harder-fought than that might suggest.
