Sunday, June 15th , 2025
The future looks extremely bright for Giovanni Hearn. At the age of 21, many players are still trying to find their way in ABA College.
Hearn has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the Conference 2 Most Valuable Player Award.
"I didn't expect to hit .348 this year, that's for sure," the shortstop said.
The Alabama Crimson Tide star also put up a .420 on-base percentage this year, with 69 hits, 11 doubles, 1 triple, 16 home runs, 40 RBIs and 34 runs scored.
He received 31 first place votes out of a possible 56. Dylan Phillips of the Alabama Crimson Tide finished second in voting with 11 first place votes, while Dan Price of the Kansas Jayhawks finished third with 1 first place vote.
