Big Year for Woodall, Wins SL2 Pitcher of the Year Award Saturday, June 14th , 2025 Phil Woodall finished off a fine season by taking home the Conference 2 Pitcher of the Year Award today.
The TCU hurler went 4-1 on the year, posting a 1.57 ERA. Woodall also tallied 69 strikeouts in 69 innings and allowed opposing batters to hit only .216 against him.
He received 23 first place votes out of a possible 56. Eric Tate of the Missouri Tigers finished second in voting with 11 first place votes, while Chris McGiffin of the Texas Longhorns finished third with 4 first place votes.
