Top Pitcher Award Announced by SL1 Saturday, June 14th , 2025 The Conference 1 has heralded Jim Wallace of the Nebraska Cornhuskers as the #1 man on the mound for the 2025 campaign. This year's Pitcher of the Year Award winner stood out by running up an impressive 7-1 record, holding opposing hitters to a .212 batting average and posting a 1.56 ERA. The 21-year-old hurler tossed 80.2 innings, gave up 62 hits, fanned 74 and issued 16 walks. He received 19 first place votes out of a possible 56. Jeremy Harrison of the Indiana Hoosiers finished second in voting with 14 first place votes, while Chris Allen of the Boston College Eagles finished third with 13 first place votes.
