Clewell Drops Baseball to Play Basketball Saturday, July 24th , 2021 Miami multi-sport star Riley Clewell has decided to discontinue his baseball career and focus full-time on his basketball career. Despite his love of baseball, Clewell says he likes his prospects on the hardwood better than the diamond. "It was a tough decision, but I think this is the right one for me," said the Hurricanes starting pitcher. Clewell, considered to be a standout shooting guard, is projected as a late 1st or 2nd round pick in the upcoming pro basketball draft. |
