Razor-Sharp Mueller Blanks California Thursday, May 1st , 2025 It was not a good day at the plate for the California Golden Bears. They came up empty when it mattered against Nebraska Cornhuskers right-hander Wade Mueller, who scattered 3 hits across 9 innings and held the Golden Bears scoreless. "We had 3 hits so I know he wasn't completely untouchable, but he was close," California manager Tom Thomas said later. Mueller chalked up 14 strikeouts and 1 walk in the 15-0 Cornhuskers win. On the season, Mueller has a 7-2 record with a 2.22 ERA. |
