Top Pitcher Trophy Won by Wildcats Stuart Wednesday, June 9th , 2021 Mark Stuart was the most outstanding pitcher in the Conference 2 this year and today was acclaimed the Pitcher of the Year Award winner for his efforts. Stuart had a marvelous season, going 5-0 with an impressive 1.04 ERA in 12 starts. He struck out 61 in 69 innings and limited opposing batters to a .174 batting average. He received 56 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. John Blackman of the Alabama Crimson Tide finished second in voting, while Kevin Menichini of the Kansas Jayhawks finished third.
