SL2 Hands Out Reliever of the Year Award Sunday, June 6th , 2021
At the young age of only 18, Daniel Gilles has been named the Conference 2 Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2021.
The future appears bright for the Kansas State Wildcats relief ace, who captured the award with 2 saves in 24 relief appearances, 26 strikeouts in 28 innings and a record of 1-0 to go with his 1.61 ERA.
He received 22 first place votes out of a possible 56. Kevin Massey of the LSU Tigers finished second in voting with 17 first place votes, while John Gray of the Alabama Crimson Tide finished third with 12 first place votes.
