Morris Touches All the Bases, Hits for Cycle Saturday, April 19th , 2025 Nebraska shortstop Nick Morris had a field day at Bill Davis Stadium, battering Ohio State pitchers and hitting for the cycle. Morris sparked the Cornhuskers to a win, 11-4, over the Buckeyes by going 4-for-4 with 6 runs batted in and scoring 3 runs. "I was seeing the ball great today," Morris said. "I'm glad it translated into results on the field." Nick Morris walked in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Jared Barrell in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th and hit a two-run triple in the 8th. So far this year, Morris is batting .289 with 6 home runs. |
