Peters Runs Hit String to 32 Straight Games

Jason Peters has been ripping hits every day for a while now, and nobody seems able to stop him. The Cincinnati first baseman picked up 1 more today against the Auburn Tigers and now has a 32-game hitting streak. The Bearcats won the game, 5-1.
"Definitely somebody's going to stop me at some point," he said later, chuckling. "I'll enjoy it for the time being." Jason Peters struck out in the 2nd, grounded out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th and hit a two-run home run off Matt Koperski in the 7th.
So far on the season, Peters is hitting .359 with 6 home runs, 20 RBIs and 19 runs scored. He has 46 hits and played in 34 games.
