Georgia Tech Starting Pitcher Out Thursday, April 17th , 2025 Chris Hoeppner will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Georgia Tech starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Hoeppner was injured while throwing a pitch in the Yellow Jackets-Wolverines clash at Ray Fisher Stadium recently. Doctors said he has a torn meniscus and would be out a minimum of 4-5 months. So far this season, Hoeppner has a record of 1-1 with 33 strikeouts and 21 walks in 37.1 innings and a 4.82 ERA. |
