Stelting Bashes 5 Base Hits Saturday, April 29th , 2023 Adam Stelting had an answer for everything the UCF Knights threw at him at John Euliano Park. The Vanderbilt first baseman went 5-for-7 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the Commodores a win, 17-7. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Stelting said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Adam Stelting hit a solo-shot off Travis Coleman in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, flied out in the 8th, grounded out in the 10th, singled in the 11th and hit an RBI single in the 11th. This season, Stelting has hit at a .313 clip and produced 16 runs batted in, 3 home runs and 16 runs. |
