Justin DeRosa Sidelined for Season Tuesday, April 25th , 2023 The season is finished for Justin DeRosa of the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Demon Deacons reliever suffered a torn labrum while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Louisville Cardinals. Team doctors said it would take at least 7-8 months to heal. This year, DeRosa has earned no saves, worked 13.1 innings, fanned 8 hitters and recorded a 6.07 ERA. He has also put up a 2-0 won-lost mark. |
