Colella Sends Houston Bats to Deep Freeze Sunday, April 13th , 2025 Kansas Jayhawks starter Bobby Colella really did a number on the Houston Cougars, shutting them out, 12-0, on 7 hits in a complete game victory. He issued no walks and had 9 strikeouts. "We didn't have good at-bats," said Houston manager Hyeok Doe. "I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting and seeing as our team has a bunch of good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Colella."
