Maus Raps 3 HR Against Wildcats

Vanderbilt Commodores shortstop Amari Maus had a magnificent game against the Kansas State Wildcats, rocketing three balls out of Frank Myers Field at Tointon Family Stadium to help the Commodores win, 9-3.
"I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes."
For the game, Maus went 3-for-5 with 3 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
"There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Vanderbilt manager Jorge Nieves said later. "Seems like Amari found his home run stroke today."
Amari Maus hit a solo-shot off Josh Dube in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Josh Dube in the 4th, flied out in the 6th, struck out in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Justin Chait in the 9th.
This season, Maus is batting .248 with 25 hits and 7 home runs. He has scored 11 times and has 14 RBI.
